Our Inn
Palm Beach Inn is located in the heart of Palm Beach Estates, an exclusive neighborhood of high end homes, several restaurants and bars, a grocery store and surf shop. The Inn is surrounded on three sides by a forested park that preserves the habitat and migratory routes of local animals including the howler monkey. A five minute walk west is the stunning 4 mile long, white sand Playa Grande Beach which is part of the Marina Las Baulas National Park.
The national park protects the nesting habitat for three types of sea turtles including the majestic Leatherback Turtle, which is the largest sea turtle in the world at over 6 feet. The beach is also world renowned for its year-round surf that is ideal for beginners and experienced surfers alike. A three minute walk to the east is the Tamarindo Estuary National Park which is the largest mangrove estuary in central America. The estuary protects the vital marine life nursery that helps make the Pacific coast of Costa Rica a sport fisherman’s paradise and provides a bounty of seafood.
To minimize the negative human impact on these natural resources, Palm Beach Inn provides a luxurious and comfortable experience for our guests with energy and water efficiencies. Our Inn has an extensive solar system that generates and stores electricity for our rooms and market and we utilize energy and water efficient appliances. Palm Beach Inn has implemented reforestation and composting initiatives as well to ensure plants, animals and people all thrive in this unique tropical dry forest.
